Asian Champions Trophy Hockey 2021 Semi-Final: India Go Down 3–5 to Japan, To Take On Pakistan in Third-Place Playoff
Japan got on top pretty early with a two-goal lead and then they continued dominating the match, with the scoreline once reading 5-1 in their favour. India scored two goals in the fourth quarter but that was not enough for them.
India fough hard but eventually were defeated 3-5 by Japan in the Asian Champions Trophy semifinal in Dhaka. They would now compete against Pakistan in the third-place playoff match on Wednesday.
