In a video shared by a netizen on X on August 5, a man was seen selling meat openly during the holy Sawan month in the Tugalpur Market in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Reacting to the video, the police directed the in-charge of Knowledge Park police station to take necessary actions. Earlier, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government had issued a ban on the sale and purchase of meat on Kanwar Yatra routes.
