Knight Riders Acquire Ownership Rights of Abu Dhabi Franchise in UAE T20 League
This is the fourth franchise to be owned by the Knight Riders after the Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League, Los Angeles' franchise in USA's Major League Cricket and Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. The UAE T20 League would have six teams.
The Knight Riders group on Thursday acquired the ownership of Abu Dhabi's franchise in the UAE T20 League. The new franchise would thus be named Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. The announcement was made on KKR's social media.
