Pooja Vastrakar became just the second Indian fast bowler after Jhulan Goswami to take 50 wickets in women's T20Is. The right-arm fast bowler achieved this feat during the IND-W vs SA-W 3rd T20I 2024 on Tuesday, July 9. Vastrakar achieved this feat by dismissing Marizanne Kapp in the third T20I after the South African handed a simple catch to Shafali Verma. Overall, Vastrakar is the seventh Indian women's team cricketer to get to the 50-wicket mark in T20Is. Deepti Sharma is the highest wicket-taker for India in women's T20s.
