The side delivered exactly the same as they defeated Gujarat Titans by four wickets at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Bowling first, RCB restricted GT to 147 runs with Mohammed Siraj, Yash Dayal and Vyshak Vinay Kumar taking two wickets each. In reply, Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli gave a perfect start to the home side. Even though the side lost wickets in the middle overs, Dinesh Karthik remained unbeaten to see his side through. Most importantly the side scored 152 runs in just 13.4 overs to boost their net run rate.
