Despite their best attempt, Indian mixed archery team of Dhiraj Bommadevara and Ankita Bhakat missed out on the bronze medal as they lost their third-place decider match against USA. USA took the lead early and made it 4-0 winning the first two sets. India came back reducing the gap 4-2 but USA kept their calm and won the final set and sealing the medal victory.
