IND Win By 7 Wickets | India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 Highlights: Kuldeep Yadav, Suryakumar Yadav, Bowlers Star as Men in Blue Secure Dominant Win

India beat Pakistan by seven wickets! What a performance it has been as Men in Blue clinch second win in a row in Asia Cup 2025! It was the Indian captain and birthday boy Suryakumar Yadav who anchored the low-scoring run-chase with a 47-run unbeaten knock off just 37 balls as India get past the finish line in 15.5 overs. Fittingly enough, he hit the six which sealed the win for India. Pakistan have been thoroughly outplayed in this Group A match and they need to regroup big time. A target of 128 was never going to be enough for Pakistan to defend unless they'd trigger a big collapse in the Indian batting order. The decision to bat first by Salman Ali Agha after winning the toss sort of backfired as his team never looked to be in any sort of control with the bat in the game. India, right from the first over when Hardik Pandya dismissed Saim Ayub, looked in total control of proceedings ensured that Sahibzada Farhan's 40 and Shaheen Afridi's 33-run blitz, Pakistan did not get a fighting score on the board. Kuldeep Yadav starred for India once again with three wickets for just 18 runs off his four overs while Axar Patel (2/18), Varun Chakaravarthy (1/24) and Hardik Pandya (1/34) were among the other wicket-takers. Jasprit Bumrah scalped two as well (2/28). And the way Abhishek Sharma started, there was no doubt India would win despite Saim Ayub's gritty effort with the ball (3/35). India next face Oman on September 19 while Pakistan's next game is against the UAE on September 17. India need just five more runs off the next five overs to win this match! What a dominant performance this has been from the Men in Blue as they stamped their authority over this rivalry! 

Suryakumar Yadav has been joined by Shivam Dube in the middle and the two will look to steer India to a win here. Pakistan have been outplayed totally here and apart from Saim Ayub, none of their bowlers have looked threatening.

India are heading towards a dominant victory here and Pakistan look to be out of ideas here. After Saim Ayub's two wickets inside the powerplay, Pakistan have not been able to find a breakthrough. Mohammad Nawaz had a great chance to break the Suryakumar Yadav-Tilak Varma partnership, but he dropped simple catch to dismiss the left-hander. India need 31 runs to win off the next eight overs. 

India are in total control here at the halfway mark, scoring 88 runs in 10 overs while losing two wickets. The partnership between Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma is now 47 and India seem to be headed towards the target with ease. Pakistan need a miraculous turnaround to bounce back in this match. 

Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma are keeping India in control here, scoring 71 runs in eight overs. At this rate, India might win this match comfortably. Pakistan on the other hand, need wickets at this stage. 

The powerplay is done and India have scored 61 while losing two wickets. Despite the loss of both openers, India have done well to score as many runs as possible inside the first six overs. Pakistan need to take wickets and in quick time if they are to defend this total here. 

Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma are out in the middle and the two will look to build a partnership here. India might have lost two wickets alright but they have gotten off to a great start, with Pakistan not defending a big total.

Abhishek Sharma is in some mood tonight and he is showing just why he is the no 1 ranked T20I batter. The left-hander shattered Pakistan's momentum after the Shubman Gill wicket with a four and six off Shaheen Afridi's second over and the Men in Blue have shown no signs of stopping at all inside the powerplay. 

OUT! Saim Ayub has struck for Pakistan and he has taken the big wicket of Shubman Gill! After being hit for two boundaries, the Pakistan youngster has the last laugh as Shubman Gill is out stumped after drawing him forward. Pakistan have taken an early wicket! India are off to a flying start with Abhishek Sharma smashing Shaheen Afridi for two consecutive fours off the first two deliveries of this innings. Shaheen Afridi did bounce back in the over, but this is a confident start from the no 1 ranked T20I batter

Pakistan finish with 127/9 in their 20 overs and this is not the total that Salman Ali Agha had in his mind when he won the toss and chose to bat first. The Indian spinners, led by Kuldeep Yadav (3/18), put in yet another superb effort with the ball in hand and dominated most part of the game. Axar Patel also took two wickets while conceding 18 off his four overs, while Varun Chakaravarthy (1/24) and Hardik Pandya (1/34) were the other wicket-takers. Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets as well (2/28). Had it not been for Shaheen Afridi, who scored 33* off 16, Pakistan would not have even got to the total they got in the end. OUT! Jasprit Bumrah has castled Sufiyan Muqeem and Pakistan have lost a ninth wicket now! The tail-ender attempted to play the scoop shot by moving away from the stumps, but missed the ball totally which crashed into the stumps. OUT! Faheem Ashraf is out LBW and Varun Chakarvarthy gets his first wicket of the night! The left-hander was hit right on his pads while attempting a reverse sweep and he used the DRS. Kuldeep Yadav has starred with another stellar show, taking three wickets while conceding just 18 runs off his four overs so far. He and other Indian spinners have been superb in the India vs Pakistan match so far and Pakistan will need quite a few big hits to get to a fighting total. 

OUT! Kuldeep Yadav continues to impress and this time, he has picked up the big wicket of Sahibzada Farhan! The right-hander attempted to cut loose but did not make the desired connection, finding Hardik Pandya in the deep. Varun Chakaravarthy has bowled a tidy over here and with just four overs left, Pakistan really need a massive effort to get to a respectable total. 

Pakistan are 78/6 at the end of 15 overs and it has been the Indian spinners who have starred so far. Pakistan are under pressure here to get to a fighting total and it will not be an easy task in the remaining five overs.
