IND Win By 6 Wickets | India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 Highlights: Abhishek Sharma Dazzles in Dubai as Men in Blue Beat Arch-Rivals Once Again

India beat Pakistan by six wickets! What a performance this has been by India and Pakistan are on the losing side yet again just like last Sunday. Abhishek Sharma was the star of the show with a 74-run knock that came off just 39 balls as India chased down the 172-run target in 18.5 overs! India have a winning start to their Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 campaign. Pakistan put up a much-improved performance with the bat this time around but it has been the bowling that has let them down once again in the space of a week against India. Batting first, it was Sahibzada Farhan who scored 58 runs off 45 deliveries to help Pakistan set a 172-run target for India. For India, Shivam Dube was the best bowler as he scalped two wickets for 22 runs while Hardik Pandya (1/29) and Kuldeep Yadav (1/31) got one each. 


The total looked challenging if early wickets were taken by the Pakistan bowlers. But what followed was absolute carnage unleashed by Abhishek Sharma. The world no 1 ranked T20I batter smashed the Pakistan bowlers to all parts of the ground alongside Shubman Gill, who too looked pretty fluent for his 28-ball 47. The two had a 105-run opening partnership. Although Pakistan did fight back with a few wickets, India were always in control of the chase and got home comfortably. India are nine runs away from recording another win over Pakistan. This has been another one-sided show in the second innings with Abhishek Sharma taking the spotlight with a sensational 74-run knock off 39 balls! India need just nine runs now to win off 12 balls. 

Hardik Pandya has come out to bat and has hit Haris Rauf for a four on the first ball he faced. India now need 19 runs off 18 balls and Pakistan really need a miracle to turn things around from here.

So 15 overs are done and India need 32 more runs to win in 30 balls! It has been another dominant batting performance from India and it remains to be seen what Pakistan come up with next with not many to defend. 

Sanju Samson has joined forces with Tilak Varma and India are now 132/3 in 14 overs. The left-right hand combination would aid India and Pakistan need to take wickets now to have any chance of winning this. India need 40 runs off 36 balls now. 

OUT! Abrar Ahmed has taken the big wicket of Abhishek Sharma! The left-hander was in two minds while playing that shot and instead, chipped in the air and Haris Rauf took the catch. OUT! One wicket brings two and Pakistan now have the wicket of Suryakumar Yadav! The Indian captain attempted his trademark flick on the leg-side but got a top-edge and Abrar Ahmed did well to take the catch at third man. The partnership between Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma has crossed 100 runs and so far, it has been all India! All of the Pakistan bowlers have been taken to the cleaners and India are proving to be too hot to handle for Pakistan here. 

FIFTY for Abhishek Sharma and he has got to the mark off just 24 balls! What a knock this has been from the young left-hander who has been in superb form in the IND vs PAK match. He has taken the attack to Pakistan bowlers and did not allow anyone to settle down. He blows a kiss as well after reaching his 50! 

Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill have put India on top here with a solid batting display. The two openers have taken the attack to Pakistan's bowlers, not allowing any of them to settle down and the Green Shirts are under pressure now. At this rate, this match will not last long. After the powerplay, India are on top here.

India are off to a positive start here with 31 runs coming off the first three overs in this run chase. Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma will hope to make the most of the remaining three overs of he powerplay. 

Shubman Gill has now joined the party and he has put Saim Ayub under pressure early on here. The part-timer was hit for two fours in his first over. 

Abhishek Sharma has given India a good start here with him and Shubman Gill scoring nine runs off the first over bowled by Shaheen Afridi. The first ball of the innings disappeared for a six and India are up and running! 

Faheem Ashraf finishes the innings with a six and Pakistan have a fighting score on the board. Sahibzada Farhan (58 off 45) provided Pakistan with the early impetus in this match as he took on the Indian bowlers while India made a comeback in the middle overs, with Shivam Dube taking a couple of wickets. Pakistan finished on a high with Faheem Ashraf (20* off 8 balls) being the aggressor in the death overs. For India, Shivam Dube was the best bowler with two wickets for 33 runs, while Hardik Pandya (1/29) and Kuldeep Yadav (1/31) were also amongst the wickets. This is a fighting score by Pakistan and the onus is on their bowlers now. Salman Ali Agha and Mohamamd Nawaz have done well in their bid to finish on a high, hitting Shivam Dube for 17 runs in his last over. India on the other hand, will look to keep Pakistan to as low a score as possible from here on. 

Salman Ali Agha and Mohammad Nawaz will eye a big finish now, with Pakistan not having scored much in the past few overs. Pakistan are 129/4 and with three overs to go, they will look to get going on. India on the other hand, would hope to stifle the flow of runs. 

Varun Chakaravarthy has bowled a tidy over, giving away just two runs in his final over of the match. He has finished his spell on a high and Pakistan are under a bit of pressure here.
