Kerala: Man Drives Burning Lorry To Safety, Watch Video

On January 30, a major tragedy was avoided in Kerala, thanks to one man’s presence of mind. A lorry which was carrying rice straw caught fire after getting in contact with an overhead power line in the town of Kodenchery. The worried and helpless lorry driver jumped out of the burning lorry. Soon after, one person jumped into the lorry and drove it to an empty playground. As per a report in The Hindu, Varghese drove the lorry in a 'zigzag' manner to offload as much of the burning material as possible. He managed the situation till the firefighters reached the spot.
