New Delhi, Nov 11 (PTI) A 14-year-old boy died after his motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle in Shahadra's Krishna Nagar on early Sunday, police said.

The deceased was identified as Divya Sharma, a student of class VIII, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdra) Meghna Yadav.

The motorcycle was registered in his father's name, she said.

Police received a call at around 7.30 am regarding the accident.

The boy took out the motorcycle while his parents were asleep, Yadav said.

Police are scanning the CCTV footage of the area, the DCP said.
