New Delhi, Jul 10 (PTI) Rain lashed several parts of the national capital on Thursday morning, as locals experienced a fairly humid day.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 30.6 Celsius, 4.9 degrees below the season's average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The minimum temperature was 23.0 degrees Celsius, 4.3 degrees below the seasonal average.
Humidity levels were high, with the relative humidity recorded at 67 per cent at 5.30 pm.
The IMD has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, with light to moderate rainfall, during the night. Similarly conditions can be expected on Friday as well.
Meanwhile, Delhi's air quality was in the 'satisfactory' category with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 62 at 8 pm, according to the data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
An AQI reading between 51 and 100 is considered 'satisfactory'.
