Nashik, Feb 24 (PTI) Ten scrap shops were gutted in a major fire in Ambad area of Nashik city in Maharashtra on Friday, though there was no report of anyone getting injured, an official said.
The blaze started on the spot near Chunchale housing scheme at 3am, after which it was doused some time later by firefighters in the presence of police personnel, he said.

"Property worth several lakh rupees was destroyed. The cause of the fire is being probed," he added.
