Mahoba (UP), Jan 16 (PTI) A 24-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a woman here, police said on Monday.
The incident happened in an area under Mahobakanth police station area on Sunday night, they said.
According to the police, the 20-year-old woman from the same village as the accused was sleeping when the man barged into her house and raped her.
The woman had filed a molestation case against the accused last year which is still pending in the court, SHO (Mahobkanth) Upendranath Rai said.

On the complaint of the woman's father, a case has been registered against the man, he said.
