New Delhi, Aug 15 (PTI) The government initiative ONDC on Tuesday said its website now supports 12 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu, in addition to English, Hindi, and Kannada.

With this, people can engage with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) protocol in their chosen language.

It has also introduced "ONDC Sahayak", a WhatsApp chatbot (currently in Beta phase) that serves as a guiding light for those navigating the intricacies of digital commerce.

"ONDC Sahayak drives awareness for sellers about the Network's advantages, showcases live categories, connects them with Seller Network Participants, and simplifies the onboarding process," it said.
