Mumbai, Oct 18 (PTI) Leading electrical player Polycab on Wednesday reported a 59 per cent year-on-year jump in net income at Rs 429 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2023.

The company reported a revenue of Rs 4,217 crore for the July-September quarter, up 27 per cent from the year-ago period, said a release.

Inder Jaisinghani, the chairman and managing director of the company attributed the strong set of numbers to favourable demand environment and the company's strong focus on execution.

Gross margin improved by 160 bps to 14.4 per cent, while net margins soared 210 bps.

Kotak Bank ties up with BLS E-Services

BLS E-Services, a subsidiary of BLS International, has entered into a master business correspondent agreement with Kotak Mahindra Bank for a three-year period, to help widen the bank's reach into the unbanked areas.

The financial inclusion project with BLS will be initially launched at 1,000 selected locations across Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.

IIFL Securities net nearly doubles

IIFL Securities on Wednesday reported a 94 per cent on-year growth in net income at Rs 107.4 crore on a revenue of Rs 533.7 crore for the September quarter.

Total brokerage revenue rose 66 per cent to Rs 270.6 crore, the company said in a statement.
