Patna, Aug 4 (PTI) Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey today visited the Patna Medical College and Hospital and inquired about the 3-year-old girl who was rescued from a 165 ft deep borewell shaft in Munger on Wednesday night.

The girl, Sanno, has been admitted at the ICU of the hospital since she was brought here from Munger yesterday.

Pandey expressed satisfaction on her treatment and directed the authorities to ensure that the girl gets all facilities required.

"There has been significant improvement in Sanno's health condition," Pandey said adding that a team of doctors are keeping a close tab on her health condition.

He also comforted the relatives of Sanno during his hour long visit at the hospital.

The little girl fell into a borewell shaft near her maternal grandfather's house in Munger on July 31 and was rescued in a 30-hour-long operation.
