Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], Mar 12 (ANI): Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava has written to CEC Sunil Arora alleging that despite the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in place, officials and employees are being transferred 'retrospectively' by the Congress government."Even after the imposition of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) from March 10, the transfers in various departments are being done in back dates," he said in the letter, alleging that these transfers are being done as an act of 'political vengeance.'"The state government recently transferred officials and employees of various departments in large numbers. The state government has not followed the rules of transfer and these transfer are being done as political vengeance," reads the letter.He has demanded that these transfers are immediately revoked and appropriate legal action should be taken against those involved."I request that EC should inspect all these orders and put a stop over the transfers being done in back dates," reads the letter."Responsibility should be fixed and action should be taken against the accused officials," reads the letter.
