Ghaziabad, Mar 25 (PTI) Two persons were arrested here for running an illegal arms factory, the police said on Monday.

Mursleem of Kaila Bhatta Mohalla and Tinkoo alias Pintoo of Hardoi had set up the factory in Bamheta village of Kavi Nagar area, they said.

The duo was making country made pistols at the unit. They were arrested on Sunday night following a tip off, Deputy Superintendent of Police Atish Kumar Singh said.

A total of 36 country made pistols, 7 cartridges and other equipment were recovered.
