Section 377 Partially Scrapped, Homosexuality Decriminalised by Supreme Court, CJI Dipak Misra Says 'I Am What I Am, So Take Me As I Am'
The Supreme Court on Thursday held Section 377 Unconstitutional, decriminalising homosexuality. The Section of the IPC was partially scrapped by the apex court today. The historic verdict was pronounced by a five-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra and comprises of Justices R F Nariman, A M Khanwilkar, D Y Chandrachud and Indu Malhotra.
