New Delhi, October 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and President Ram Nath Kovind are on the hit list of All India Lashkar-e-Taiba, a newly-formed terror outfit. According to reports, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has recieved a letter in which terrorists threatened to kill PM Narendra Modi, Virat Kohli, Amit Shah, President Kovind among other prominent personalities. Pakistan Army Directed Lashkar-e-Taiba, ISIS Terrorists to Target Indian Assets in Afghanistan: Report.

The threat letter was reportedly sent by All India Lashkar-e-Taiba's Kozhikode unit. Other names on the hit list are Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, BJP working president JP Nadda, BJP veteran Lal Krishna Advani and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, News18 reported. Most of the personalities on Lashkar's hit list are Z-plus protectees. According to intelligence reports, Pakistan-based terrorists have been trying to carry out attacks in India since the government withdrew Jammu and Kashmir's special status granted under Article 370. In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani troops have made multiple failed attempts in recent months to push terrorists into Indian territory.
