New Delhi, September 17: Twitter was flooded with funny reactions with #500LeRiaHai on Tuesday after Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga allegedly trapped Congress's Andria D’souza aka Ria with an offer for tweeting. Sharing a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga said that he had offered Ria to tweet about Flipkart and the Congress leader did it for Rs 500. 'Rajiv Gandhi The Father of Mob Lynching': BJP Man Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga Puts up Posters Across Delhi.

The WhatsApp conversation revealed that a person wanted to share a promotional tweet for a Flipkart sale by @RiaRevealed, the official Twitter handle of Ria. The receiver demanded Rs 500 for this. Once paid, the promotional tweet reflected on Ria's timeline. And here began a war of words between Bagga and Ria. The BJP leader shared the conversation and added how it is actually his birthday and not Flipkart foundation date as mentioned in the "promotional tweet" posted by Ria.

"Dear @RiaRevealed 24th is not @Flipkart Foundation Day, It's My Birthday & tweet was sent by me. 500 Rs mil gae? (sic)" Bagga tweeted. Immediately, the "promotional tweet" got deleted from Ria's timeline. Ria later posted another tweet with the correct date. The Congress's spokesperson, initially, said that the promotional tweet was posted by her. However, she later shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation and said that the deleted tweet was posted by her manager without her approval.

Ria's Response to Bagga's Tweet:

"This is to bring forth ur n pplz attention that @TajinderBagga and @BJP4India do trap innocent ppl. Technically the chat which bagga posted was done with my manager .. below is my chat with my social media manager.. This is @BJP4India true color. Fake trap Ppl with fake cases (sic)," Ria tweeted.

"My social media manager use to earn out of tweets for himself which is commonly done by all and today thanks to @BJP4India n @TajinderBagga he lost his job.. From my side. So this is how u @BJP4India plays ur political vendetta with ppl (sic)," she further clarified. However, the clarification couldn't stop the flood of tweets trolling Ria. Following the incident, some troll also vandalised Ria's Wikipedia page and added: "She promote tweet for Rs 500 per tweet (sic)." This was, however, later removed.
