His LP Starting Over won over songs by by Sturgill Simpson (The Ballad of Dood & Juanita), Mickey Guyton (Remember Her Name), Brothers Osborne (Skeletons), and Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall, and Jack Ingram (The Marfa Tapes).
Chris Stapleton bagged the trophy for Best Country Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards. In addition to this, Stapleton also crooned his song 'Cold' which won the Best Country Song award as well.
