Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, during the inauguration of a new Emergency and Paediatric Ward at Mata Kaushalya District Hospital in Patiala, Punjab, announced a significant healthcare initiative. Kejriwal stated that comprehensive medical services, including treatment, tests, medicines, and surgeries, would be provided free of charge to those in need. He highlighted the establishment of approximately 600 'Mohalla Clinics' in Punjab in the past year and underscored the ongoing focus on enhancing second and tertiary-level hospitals. Renovation efforts are currently underway, with the ultimate goal of providing free healthcare services.
