According to Congress leader Pawan Khera, Rahul Gandhi met the survivor and her family along with Sonia Gandhi. The family alleged continued denial of justice under the BJP government and requested assistance for a strong legal team to pursue the case against former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, whose life sentence has been suspended. Citing serious security threats, the family sought relocation to a Congress-ruled state. The survivor’s husband also requested help in securing better livelihood opportunities. Both Rahul and Sonia Gandhi assured full support to ensure justice, safety and dignity for the family.
