Tamil Nadu police sub-inspector thrashed people eating at a hotel in Coimbatore on Sunday night in the name of enforcing COVID-19 protocols. The incident tool place at around 10:20 pm. Notably, as per COVID-19 restriction in Tamil Nadu, hotels are allowed to open till 11 pm. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

An SI attached to Kattoor police station in Coimbatore was caught on camera beating employees of an hotel at Gandhipuram on Sunday night.
