On Sunday, May 10, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that heatwave conditions at isolated places are likely over West Rajasthan and Gujarat between May 10-14; East Rajasthan between May 10-13 and West Madhya Pradesh between May 12-14. "Isolated heavy rainfall likely over Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal for next 7 days," the weather agency said. IMD further added that warm night conditions are likely to prevail in isolated pockets over West Rajasthan between May 10-14 and East Rajasthan between May 10-13. It also said that hot and humid weather conditions are very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over Konkan and Goa on May 11. That said, the weather forecasting service Windy has not predicted any rainfall in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad for today, May 11. However, 0.2 mm of rain has been forecasted for Chennai. Windy has also projected 0.3 to 0.9 mm of rainfall in Kolkata and 0.3 to 1.5 mm of rain in Shimla on Monday.
