Bajrang Punia Loses to Haji Aliyev in Men’s Freestyle 65kg Wrestling Semifinals at Tokyo Olympics 2020, To Contest for Bronze Medal

Bajrang Punia's dreams of a gold or silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 came to an end after he suffered 12-5 a loss to Haji Aliyev in the Men's 65kg freestyle wrestling event. This means that only Ravi Kumar Dahiya is India's only medal winner in wrestling in this year's Olympics so far.

Indian wrestler Bajrang Punia, put up a brave fight but eventually lost to Haji Aliyev in the semifinals of the Men's Freestyle 65kg wrestling event at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.  He would now contest for the bronze medal.
