A tailor, Kanhaiya Lal living in Udaipur has been killed over his social media post supporting former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma against the Prophet Mohammad. The killing was recorded on video and circulated on social media. The Rajasthan Police has arrested the alleged murderers but the killing has sparked outrage. The state’s chief minister Ashok Gehlot has condemned the killing and ordered additional police forces to the area. Congress party’s Rahul Gandhi too has condemned the murder. The BJP has slammed the Rajasthan government for the murder of Kanhaiya Lal.
