Mumbai, Apr 22 (PTI) Domestic airline Akasa Air on Tuesday said its daily flight operations has crossed 150 flights within 31 months of the launch of the services in August 2022.

Also in this period, the airline has flown over 17 million revenue passengers, besides expanding its international operations into the Gulf and Middle East, Akasa Air said.

This expansion is remarkable for an airline so young, proving its ability to compete on a global scale, it said.

Having successfully completed over 150 departures a day and 1,000 departures a week, the airline continues to strengthen its footprint across domestic and international markets, Akasa Air said.

Akasa Air currently connects with 23 domestic destinations--Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Guwahati, Agartala, Pune, Lucknow, Goa, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Sri Vijaya Puram, Ayodhya, Gwalior, Srinagar, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Darbhanga and five international (Doha, Jeddah, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait City) with a fleet of 27 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
