Guwahati (Assam) [India], October 19 (ANI): The Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police on Thursday arrested four drug peddlers, including two women, along with narcotics substances in the Khanapara area of Guwahati.

Acting on a tip-off, the STF conducted a raid under an overbridge in the Khanapara area, police said.

Sharing details of the raid, Partha Sarathi Mahanta, DIG (STF) told ANI that the STF team rounded up four drug peddlers, including two women.

"The STF team recovered and seized 86 vials containing heroin weighing 119.5 grams, Rs 11,100 in cash and 3 mobile phones from them," the DIG said.

The arrested peddlers were identified as Dhon Rabha (27), Ainul Sheikh (27), Ketep Boro (44) and Sunabanu Begum (36).

The peddlers alongwith the seized items were turned over to officers at the Basistha police station. (ANI)
