New Delhi [India], August 30 (ANI): BJP national general secretary BL Santosh on Tuesday presided over the party's 'Abhyas Varg', a training module or programme for party workers aimed at enhancing their efficacy.

Dushyant Gautam, the convenor of ‘Abhyash Varg’, also attended the training session.

The BJP, earlier, held a meeting with its panchayat members from all over the country as part of the 'Abhyas Varg" programme.

The daylong session held on Tuesday at the BJP's headquarters in the national capital was also attended by the party's coordinator, in-charge and co-incharge.

According to party sources, the BJP will arrange similar training sessions for its block chiefs and councillors of municipal corporations in all states. 

At the meeting on Wednesday, the party also set a deadline for these sessions to be conducted within a period of three months.

The 'Abhyas Varg' programmes for elected municipal representatives and panchayat members are aimed at making them better at discharging their responsibilities and honour their mandates, raising awareness on the BJP's core ideology, giving them proper guidance and helping them reach out to the public by effectively conveying the party's welfarist schemes and initiatives for the people.
