India News | Delhi: Body of 23-year-old Man Recovered from Abandoned Building in Inderpuri

New Delhi [India], October 8 (ANI): The body of a 23-year-old man was recovered from the debris of an abandoned building that collapsed 10 days ago in the Inderpuri area of Central Delhi, said police.
According to Delhi police, the deceased has been identified as Chandan.

Giving information about the case, the police said, "A PCR call was received in the Inderpuri Police Station yesterday (October 7), regarding a foul smell in the neighbourhood."
After receiving the information, officials reached the spot and started searching the area. Shortly after, the body of the youth was found in the debris of an abandoned structure that fell about 10 days ago."
As per the enquiry so far, it appears that part of the old abandoned structure might have fallen down while the deceased was inside, they added.
"No PCR call regarding the collapse of any such structure was recorded in the police station and no missing report had been filed by the family," said police.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
Earlier in July, an unidentified body was recovered from Chelmsford Road under the Paharganj police station area of the national capital.
The body seemed to be of a man aged between 35 and 40 years. Further, a postmortem investigation was conducted. (ANI)
