India News | Father-son Duo Among 3 Killed in Head-collision Between 2 Motorcycles in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Jul 10 (PTI) Three persons, including a father-son duo, were killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in Odisha's Ganjam district on Thursday, police said.

The accident took place near Samantarapur in Jarada police station area.

The deceased were identified as Dau Gouda (55), his son Sunil Kumar Gouda (25), and Rajesh Panigrahi (25).

According to the police, Sunil and Rajesh died on the spot while Dau succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to Patrapada Hospital.

The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed grief over the deaths and announced Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia to the next of kin of the deceased, the CMO said in a post on X.
