Udhampur (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 13 (ANI): The 84 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized a free medical camp at the Government Higher Secondary School in the Kud area of Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur on Sunday.

The day-long camp aimed to provide free medical checkups and medicines to underprivileged villagers.

Around 250 people, including elderly individuals, women, and children, benefited from the initiative. Anu Gorke (SMO/DC) and Manish Rundla (MO/AC) of the CRPF provided medical care to the participants.

Commandant N Ranbir Singh was present at this camp and he pointed out that 84 Bn CRPF is deployed in J-K, securing a crucial stretch of NH 44, a vital lifeline to the Kashmir Valley.

The free medical camp served as a social outreach program to connect with the local populace, particularly those lacking easy access to quality healthcare facilities.
