New Delhi, Sep 18 (PTI) JettWings Airways on Monday said it has partnered with an aviation academy in Serbia for cadet pilot programme.

The airline, based in Guwahati, has inked an exclusive agreement with Aviation Academy Belgrade, Serbia, for the programme 'JettWings Serbia', according to a release.

The first batch of cadet pilots will begin their training from November 15.

The Aviation Academy has been established by the Ministry of Education, Science & Technological Development of Serbia, in which the state is investing 65 million euros for further advancement of infrastructure and facilities.

JettWings plans to provide regional connectivity to passengers under the government's UDAN scheme to various destinations in the Northeast and eastern regions initially.
