Valletta [Malta], Sept 17 (ANI): Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu held delegation-level talks with the Speaker of the House of Representative of Malta, Anglu Farrugia, where Parliamentarians from both the sides exchanged their experiences.

The Vice President also had a meeting with Minister for Economy, Investment and Small Business of Malta, Christian Cardona. The two leaders discussed bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual concerns.

Meanwhile, Naidu also met Leader of Opposition of Malta, Adrian Delia. They emphasised on working together to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

Earlier in the day, India and Malta signed three Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) relating to tourism, maritime cooperation and exchanges between the Foreign Service Institute of India and the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies, University of Malta.

In addition, India has offered Malta to take advantage of its highly-skilled professionals in the field of Information and Technology (IT), financial services, health, pharmaceutical, transport, freight and tourism. (ANI)
