Actor Dileep’s Exoneration Far From Over As Prosecution Moves To Challenge Acquittal

The prosecution has begun formal steps to challenge the trial court verdict in the high-profile 2017 actress assault case in Kerala, focusing on the acquittal of actor Dileep and other co-accused. A report detailing the legal grounds and feasibility of an appeal has been prepared by the Special Public Prosecutor and will be submitted to the Director General of Prosecutions this week.
