’Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Disha Vakani’s Father Bhim Vakani Passes Away in Ahmedabad

Veteran actor Bhim Vakani, father of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Disha Vakani, passed away today in Ahmedabad. The late actor was known for his contributions to television and Bollywood films. Disha Vakani gained immense popularity as Daya Ben in the hit SAB TV show, while her brother Mayur Vakani is loved for playing Sundarlal in the same series. Bhim Vakani had also made a brief appearance in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, sharing screen space with his children. Apart from television, he worked in several Bollywood films alongside stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit. He was also part of Aamir Khan’s critically acclaimed film Lagaan.
