Antim Panghal becomes the first one to win a medal for India in the Freestyle event at the Asian Games 2023 as she beat her Mongolian opposition 3-1 in the Bronze Medal playoff.
India wins second medal from wrestling in the Asian Games 2023, but this from the freestyle event as Antim Panghal bags bronze medal in the 53kg repechage round after losing to Japan's Akari Fujinama in the quarterfinal. Antim took the lead midway in to the first round and carefully held on to the lead and secured her bronze medal.
