New Delhi, Aug 7 (PTI) Amazon.in today said it has opened its largest fulfilment centre (FC) in Haryana, a move that will help the e-commerce giant deliver products faster during the upcoming festive season.
Spread over close to three lakh sq ft with over 1.5 million cubic feet of storage space, the centre situated in Panchgaon will enable faster delivery to customers in the region, Amazon.in said in a statement.
The company, however, did not disclose investment details.
"With this infrastructure, Amazon has increased its storage capacity by 1.5X since last year in Haryana. The company now has more than 5 million cubic feet of storage space in the state," it added.

The project will focus on leveraging the ubiquity of mobile phones in Colombia to extend digital financial services to agricultural producers and the rural population, a statement today said.
Under the pilot phase, customers will be able to open a mobile account, deposit money into account, withdraw cash from the account, transfer money to other users, pay utility bills and recharge their prepaid mobile connection, among other transactions, it added.

* Wishup raises funding led by Inflection Point Ventures *
Delhi-based startup Wishup today said it has raised an undisclosed amount of funding led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).
The company connects businesses to virtual employees for a vast range of roles including virtual executive assistant, lead management, customer support, secondary research, database building, sales excellence and digital marketing.
"We are pleased to have IPV onboard as our investors and mentors. With this funding, we will expand our business development, marketing and technology teams. We are looking for well-connected business development managers across Bangalore, Mumbai, Gurgaon and the US," Wishup co-founder Neelesh Rangwani said.
Wishup will be responsible for hiring, training and managing these remote employees, Neelesh added.
