New Delhi [India], June 10 (ANI): Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gaddi Nashin of Dargah Ajmer Sharif represented the holy shrine at the oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his historic third term in New Delhi on Sunday.

The ceremony, marked by its grandeur and sanctity, took place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath to PM Modi as well as several other members of his cabinet.

The event witnessed the presence of seven heads of state from neighbouring countries, including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Mauritius, Seychelles, and Maldives, as part of India's 'Neighbourhood First' policy.

The gathering was a remarkable confluence of prominent personalities including Chief Justice Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud, senior spiritual and faith leaders, Chief Ministers of various Indian states, and senior political leaders such as Mallikarjun Kharge, Nitish Kumar, and Chandrababu Naidu.

Also in attendance were businessmen Gautam Adani, Mukesh Ambani, and Lakshmi Mittal, ambassadors from different countries, and Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Rajnikanth Garu, among other national and international dignitaries.
