Phagwara, Sep 13 (PTI) A 26-year-old man was arrested after recovering an unlicensed pistol, two cartridges and a magazine from him, police said on Friday.

Superintendent of Police Rupinder Kaur Bhatti said the accused was identified as Kulbhushan Soni alias Viny Soni of Lamian mohalla, Sarafan Bazaar here.

The recovery was made following a tip off, the police said, adding that a case has been registered in the matter.
