Jaipur (Rajasthan), Jul 10 (PTI) A teenager drowned in a river on Thursday morning in the Dholpur district of Rajasthan, police said.
Sampu police station in-charge Virendra Singh said that four individuals -- Nadeem (17), Haroon (20), Ramzani (17), and Sameer (18) -- had gone to the Parvati river to bathe but began to drown due to the heavy inflow of water caused by rain.
A local named Bholu, who was present at the spot, jumped to save them. He managed to save Haroon, Ramzani, and Sameer; however, Nadeem drowned in deep waters.
A search operation has been started with the help of local divers, police said.
