Mumbai, Feb 24 (PTI) A 43-year-old man has been arrested with mephedrone or MD worth nearly Rs 10 lakh from suburban Goregaon in the city, an official said on Friday.

The man faces at least 15 serious cases related to property, bodily harm and drug peddling, said the official.

He said a team from the Crime Branch's Unit-11 took the man into custody from near a temple in the Dindoshi area on Thursday evening.

Police recovered 56 grams of mephedrone, a recreational drug, worth Rs 10.4 lakh and two mobile phones from him, said the official, adding that the man has been remanded in police custody till February 27.
