New Delhi, March 29: We all know how frustrating and scary can losing oneโ€™s wallet or purse be! It can be even more irritating to make sure that your finances stay safe when your wallet isn't in place. In a similar incident, a Delhi resident, who lost his wallet in the crowded Delhi Metro was lucky enough to get it delivered to his house with all his belongings intact!

Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Delhi took to Facebook on Monday and posted a heart-warming note on his timeline. He expressed happiness and said that he got his wallet back from a person who lives in Noida. Gurpreetโ€™s post has since gone viral and has been shared on social media. Incidences of losing wallet are frequent in Delhi Metro and local trains and there isnโ€™t anything shocking about it. However, some people are lucky enough to get their belongings back while for some, luck doesnโ€™t work.

Gurpreet shared his pleasant experience after he got back his wallet 11 days later. โ€œGuys i wanna share something. I lost my Wallet in delhi metro on 15 March and today I received a Parcel and it was my Wallet with all of my documents and some Money. Iโ€™m very very thankful to that person who send my wallet back ......His Name is Siddharth Mehta, live in Noidaโ€, he said in his Facebook post.

Gurpreet was reunited with a wallet he lost more than 11 days ago, with the original contents still inside and untouched. A close look at the picture posted on Facebook shows that the wallet had his Aadhaar card, driving license, two debit cards, metro card and cash. Gurpreet also received a letter sent from Siddharth Mehta which said, โ€œI have found your purse in the Delhi Metro. I am sending you the same. Please call once you receive the same,โ€ Mehta wrote in the letter. Mehta also shared his contact details at the bottom of the letter.
