The Archeological Survey of India (ASI) has opposed the intervention application seeking rights over the territory of land that falls under river Ganga and river Yamuna from Agra to Meerut, Aligarh, Bulandshahar, and Gurgaon. The ASI said that the Petitioner was sitting there Idle for last 150 years and all of a sudden has come to court to file an issue.
