India Win U-16 SAFF Championship 2023, Beat Bangladesh 2-0 in Final to Clinch Trophy
After the seniors now the Juniors also clinch the SAFF Championship title as they defeat Bangladesh 2-0 in the final.
India entered the final of the U16 SAFF Championship 2023 with a massive 8-0 win behind them in the semifinal against Maldives and the kept riding on the momentum to seal the final against Bangladesh 2-0 and lifted the trophy. Bharat Lairenjam scored the opening goal for India and later in the second half Levis Zangminlun doubled the lead putting the final nail in the coffin of Bangladesh.
