Facing Liechtenstein National Football Team in the UEFA Nations League 2024-25 competition the bottom-placed side was winless in 140 games. But impressive offensive play and some gutsy defending allowed the side to register their first competitive win in 20 years. In 2024 San Marino defeated Liechtenstein in a friendly match.
