Elon Musk felt elated at the news of the US court banning the law supported by Gavin Newsom. He cheered by saying "Yay!" on X platform and said, "California's unconstitutional law infringing on your freedom of speech has been blocked by the court. " X platform owner Elon Musk, who adamantly stands for "freedom of speech", had opposed the new law enacted by California's Governor Gavin Newsom. The law made it illegal to create and share materials related to the US Elections 2024. It was enacted 120 days before the Election Day and 60 days after that. The law did not allow deepfakes and memes to be shared online by politicians and was already challenged in court.
