India U19 Win by 211 Runs | India Under-19 vs Japan Under-19 Highlights of ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2024: Mohammad Amaan, Karthikey KP Shine in Massive Win

Indian batters dictated the proceedings after being invited to bat first. Karthikey KP and Mohammad Amaan formed an important partnership to put India in control of the match. Amaan completed his century and Karthikey added 57 runs. Defending the 340-run total, three Indian bowlers picked up two wickets each, while Hugo Kelly scored 50 for Japan. the 211 Run victory will play a crucial role in the standings. 

After back-to-back wickets in the final over, Chetan Sharma's appeal for lbw decision was denied by the umpire. India moments away from big win. 

After UAE's massive 290-run win against the Japan U19 side, India will also look for a 200+-run win against the same opponents. This will help them in the net-run-rate which might play an important role in the final standings for the next round.

244 runs in 60 deliveries. India U19 side was in control of the match from the start. Japan managed to get close to the three-digit score, which could be a good achievement for the side, wherein they were dismissed on 52 in the opening match. India U19 will also be happy with the big win, pushing their bid for the next phase of the tournament.

Opening the innings, Hugo Kelly played a sensational knock scoring 5-0 runs against the India U19 bowling attack. the youngster played some eye-catching shots to keep the scoreboard ticking. Even though the side is behind the required run rate, Kelly's half-century would give them a major boost in the upcoming matches.

Japan U19 cricket team are off to a good start as Hugo Kelly and Nihar Parmar are looking to build a solid partnership. Hugo Kelly has scored some boundries and Nihar Parmar is supporting by rotating the strike again and again.

The Japan Under-19 side will seek a strong foundation to start the big chase. The side was wrapped up on 52 runs in the opening match against UAE.

40 runs from the last three overs put the India U19 team's total to 339. an unbeaten century by Mohd. Amaan and a half-century by Karthikey KP put India in a strong position while Hardik Raj collected 25 runs off 12 balls. Japan were bowled out on 52 in the last match. Indian bowlers will also look to wrap up the opposition early.  

After losing wickets in the last few overs, India U19 lost its momentum but crossed the 300-run mark in the 47th over. Bit late though considering their score at the 40th over. After Karthikey's dismissal, India lost three wickets quickly.

The Indian side lost another wicket with the batter looking to clear the boundary. This time it was Nikhil Kumar who tried to go for maximum but found the leading edge and hands an easy catch in the square leg region.  Mohammad Amaan, on the other hand, completes his century in just 106 balls.

50 Up for Kartikey! Right-handed batter completes his half-century in style. India U19 side is taking control of the match with both batters dealing in boundaries now. Nearing the final 10 overs of the match, India U19 side is looking to put up big total on the board.

After losing wickets at regular intervals, Karthikey KP and Mohammad Amaan formed a 90+ runs partnership for the India U19 team. Mohammad Amaa is taking on the opposition after completing his half-century.  The side needs a big win to stay competitive in the tournament and is looking to score above 300.
